Customer Reviews of Loving You
Got a Lot O' Dancin' to Do! More than half of the songs on this album didn't appear in the movie. This is great album! I heard "Mean Woman Blues" by Roy Orbison first and I liked it a lot but when I heard his...wow. Really hot rockabilly! Few fast rockers are featured here ("Party" is Wanda Jackson's first hit and it will remain a classic, "Hot Dog" and "Got a Lot O' Livin' to Do!") and nice ballads ("Lonesome Cowboy", "Loving You", "Don't Leave Me Now", "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?", "Is It So Strange"). Very nice rock 'n' roll!
Wonderful!
This is another great soundtrack by Elvis and the ballads are beautiful and the rockers really rock!Every song is a treasure and a must for the Elvis fan.
"I will spend my whole life through...loving you."
The best example of Elvis' pre-Army Hollywood recordings. Watch the movie first, then listen to this explosive soundtrack. Good thing RCA again re-issued old albums and added more tracks to them. The original #1 gold album had 12 (not long enough), and now the re-issue has 20 (better!). "Mean Woman Blues" gets the soundtrack started. One that one, Elvis really pours it all on. If you love Elvis, I highly recommend it. If your a fan of his movies and the music in it, it is definetly essential.
