Like Mike Like Mike is a great Father and Son Movie everyone could enjoy and relate to.The Movie tells a story about Calvin Cambridge(Lil Bow Wow)Who is a orphan and is looking for the perfect family.One day He stumble upon some shoes which was once worn by a really famous Basketball inside the shoes it features the initials MJ he then realize that famous Basketball player shoes belong to Michael Jordan.One day Calvin wears the shoes and goes to a Los Angeles Knights Game.While at the game he wins a chance to go one on one with Tracey Reynolds(Morris Chestnut)of the Los Angeles Knights.He wins the one on one match up with Tracey thanks to his MJ'S now Calvin Cambridge gets to play in The NBA With the LA Knights.I like this movie a lot because I saw the relationship betweeen Tracey and Bow wow build up in this film And at the end I almost cry because The Moment felt so emotional and well there isn't another word to describe it(And I'm not telling you the ending of the Movie).GO SEE LIKE MIKE A great Family film everyone will love they'll laugh and they'll cry in certain parts of the movie.
Not bad
I admit this movie wasn't an epic, it was really predictable and not the funniest movie I've ever seen, but never the less, I enjoyed it.
14 year old 4 ft 9 orphan, Calvin Cambridge (Lil Bow Wow) is a die-hard basketball fan and finds that he can shoot hoops like a pro thanks to a pair of sneakers that may have once belonged to Michael Jordan.
Youngsters will still enjoy watching teen rapper Lil' Bow Wow literally beating the grown-ups at their own game.
Signed up by the Los Angeles Knights, a struggling outfit whose boss (Levy) believes a kid on the bench will boost ticket sales, our hero finds himself lodging with star player Tracey Reynolds (Chestnut), who is less than welcoming to his new roommate.
At the same time he must deal with his scheming guardian, Bittleman (Glover), who makes life a misery for Calvin's fellow orphans, Murph ("Stuart Little" star Lipnicki) and Reg (Song).
Combining lively courtside action with a pleasingly Dickensian story, "Like Mike" is a fantasy fable that should keep everyone in the family entertained.

this movie has NO CLIMAX what so ever! this movie was made ONLY to make lil bow wow better than eveyrone else in the planet! if allen iverson wasnt in the movie, i wouldnt have rented this. warning: SPOILER! ok in the movie, lil bow wow finds magical shoes, he joins the NBA, although he gets to be a player, hes not happy until he can CONTROL his coach, and make up his own plays. he is also an orphan, who wants to be adopted by a good family. so he gets adopted by the lovely BOYDS, BUT lil bow wow is REALLY REALLY VERY SPOILED! so although he has a loving family, he wants to get adopted by his idol tracy renalds. throughout the movie he's never faced an actual challenge. in the entire NBA, no one was a challenge for him, everytime he shoots, the ball goes in, he can dunk anywhere and over anyone. the shoes make him INVINCEABLE LITERALLY! what a boring movie! no climax? every movie should have at least TWO climaxes! movie was just a ego booster for the spoiled brat lil bow wow.
