Customer Reviews of Lifetime 4 in 1 Crib in Natural
Toddler Bed My dad just set the crib up for me tonight, and it looks great. Like everyone else was saying, the wood is very sturdy and has no cracks or anything anywhere.
The only thing I was wondering about was if anyone has used this crib for the toddler bed yet. I can't find any pictures of it set up as one, and I can't really find any information about it. The crib came with a board that my dad said was part of the toddler bed, but I have no idea which part (lol). It may sound silly or stupid, but I don't know if that's supposed to be the little gaurd rail, or not; I don't know if it said the gaurd rail came with the crib. Sooo... if anyone could answer that question for me, I would really apppreciate it.
What a solid crib!!
My husband and I just bought this crib and put it together this evening. It took about 20 minutes from the time we unpacked the pieces to the time we put the matress in. It was so simple to put together. The fact that this crib doesn't have and plastic parts or any moveable parts really makes my husband and I feel like this is a crib we can use for years to come. I have read about this crib not being good for short people. I am 5ft3 and I don't think the height will be a problem. We are very pleased with this crib..the fact that it's a convertable crib for about $100 less than we have seen elsewhere really was the icing on the cake!
Not sure if okay for short person
I am barely 5 feet tall and am not sure if this crib is going to be hard for me to put our baby in, but my husband and I love this crib! We have shopped around, but cannot find a crib that we like better than this one. We love the fact that it doesn't have a drop down side, which makes the crib very sturdy. The only concern for us is the height of the crib. Since there is no drop side, it's a little hard for me to reach into the crib. And, it will only become harder when the mattress is lowered. The legs are very tall (especially compared to other cribs we've looked at) so, we have considered cutting them a few inches, which would lower the crib to just the right height. People we have mentioned this to don't think it's a good idea to do anything to the crib, but it seems very easy to do. We're trying to think of all possible solutions (other than getting a step stool), just to avoid having to take the crib back, but cannot come to a final decision. Does anyone have any suggestions?
