Perfect bather for an infant
I can't say enough good things about this bather! We bought it for our first son 2+ years ago and just bought a new one for our new baby. It perfectly and gently cradles the baby in the bathtub so that they cannot squirm out and get submerged in the water or get water in their ears, mouth, etc. It is angled just enough so that his or her bottom half can be in a good amount of water (no one wants a cold, unhappy baby in the bath). The bather absorbs a lot of water, so if you dunk both sides into the warm water before putting the baby on it, his or her head and back is touching the warm water, which makes it nice. Also, when you have the baby sit up to wash his hair and back his bum stays in place and he doesn't slide around, which makes bathing such a challenge otherwise. <

>The only negative thing I would say about it (and I don't even really think it's negative) is that after about 1 1/2 years of use, including washing it periodically, it lost some of its shape and wasn't as "fluffy." That's why we ended up buying a second one, but honestly for the price and use we got out of it, I couldn't complain about it. Plus by 1-2 years old you don't need it anymore anyways. It is also important to hang it up in the shower up the hanger provided after use and squeeze the water out or it can become a little bit stinky from mildew. If you forget it's not a big deal to throw it in the washer. We washed it periodically anyways, just to keep it fresh. <

Best Bath Tub That I Ever Got!!!
I fisrt tryed those big and annoying plastic infant tubs, but my son just seemed so uncomforatable in them. I was beginning to notice that the plastic tub was making him hurt. I tryed another plastic bath tub and it was just a waste of time, my son hated it! So when I got this one out and put it in the kitchen sink to use it worked perfectly. For the first time it seemed like my son was actually enjoying his bath. Now almost 5 months old he is still loveing it, he can splash freely, he laughs, and no longer screams when he gets a bath!! I would highly recommend this tub to anyone. The designer obviously thought about the comfort of the child when developeing this product!! <

Like My Primo Bathtub More
I got this from a lady who said she tried 3 plastic tubs 1st and they all scared her. I tried stuffing this in the bathroom sink and it was better than nothing. She pooped on it and it was hard to wash out. Pretty much the first 6 weeks we spot cleaned Miss Baby on a towel on the changing pad, excepting the one time in the sink. Then as recommended by Dr. Sears I sat in the bath with her and nursed her while I bathed her. Then we switched to the Primo tub, which we also got as a gift. I like it a lot more. I just fold an small towel over the top to cushion her head. The saddle thing that comes between her legs seems safer without a cushion jammed in on top of it.
