Cute Keepsake I bought this as a present for my dad for (grand)father's day. I thought he'd really like it to display his granddaughter's picture and handprint for his office. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that it is much harder than it seems to get a 10 week old to open her hand to blot with a wet sponge covered with paint and then to be able to keep her hand open and flat in order to take a good print of it. Somehow, I managed to do it anyway while she was napping. It ended up quite messy trying to wash the leftover paint off her hand while she was sleeping before she touched her face or put her hand in her mouth. The print was not as dark as I would've liked because the powdered "paint" that you dip the wet sponge into doesn't coat the surface of the sponge very thickly and the instructions never said if you were supposed to add water to the powder to make a liquid paint first so maybe I did it wrong. Anyway, in the end it still came out very cute...perhaps I could've saved myself the extra work had I waited a few months until my daughter could've been more cooperative with having her print taken.
Sweet, simple and so true. I love it.
This will be a wonderful Father's Day gift. Its not too mushy and I know he'll enjoy it.
