Customer Reviews of Kung Fu
Strange but fun Kung Fu is one of countless numbers of early generation NES titles. It's a very basic side-scrolling fighter (a good way to describe it would be a "poor man's Final Fight.") Read on for all the info you need on this game.
Graphics: 3/5
About average for the NES. Not too bad, not too great.
Play Control: 3.5/5
Punch, kick, jump. That's about it. The controls do feel sluggish at times, though, which kind of detracts from the overall feel of the game.
Challenge: 4.5/5
This is a very hard game. There are five long levels, each with a tough boss. Lose a life and you have to start the level over again. Put simply, the difficulty of this game is anything but easy.
Theme/Fun: 3/5
This isn't the most appealing early NES title. There are games on the system considerably funner than this one. Still, it's got sort of an old school charm to it, and it'll certainly keep you occupied for a few minutes.
Storyline: 2.5/5
The typical "save the girl from the ruthless tyrant" story. Even back then, this story had been beaten to death.
Music: 2.25/5
Neither music or sound is very good here.
Overall: 2.75/5
Like I said above, this is basically just a "poor man's Final Fight." It's definitely worth playing at least once, but the problem is there is virtually no replay value. This is one of those rare instances in the gaming world where once really is enough.
This is a beautiful arcade game!
A friend of mine gave me this game at Thanksgiving. At first I figured, "Well, now I have 36 games." I found out when I tried it the game was beautiful, timeless and fast-paced non-violent arcade action! It is one of the best NES games ever!
I think its a kicken game
I bought it around cristmas sometime last year or so
And me have to say i find it kicken
its very simple made and what you do is walk punch jump and kick
you simply walk in this karate house and people come towards you as you walk they can come bothe in front or behind you
so keep you fingers ready to puch or kick all the time!
even though it simply made it has several combinations especially at the bosses when you have to mix between ducking and jumping and move fast before the boss swings his weapon beacuse that takes loads of yoour enegry
also watch out!
on some levels things fall on yer head!
