Customer Reviews of Kuch Naa Kaho (2 Disc Set)
Pretty Darn Good I admit it, I was surprised at how good this movie was. This was my first bollywood movie ever, I have yet to see even Bride & Prejudice. It wasn't nearly as over the top as people told me it would be. I enjoyed Raj's antics, even though his incredible, pathetic, story about how he needed that last seat on the plane because his son Babloo was sick from a heart attack had me rolling my eyes with a groan. I was outright laughing in the school scene when Raj lived up to Adi's boasting and jumped from the roof of the school and then had to kick a soccer ball back up onto the roof. It's a good thing for Namrata that Raj really did love her, because she was so stupid sometimes and stubborn that many a man would have walked away. All in all, even though this movie was surprisingly long, at 2 hours and 46 minutes, It's well worth the time to watch it.
low quality
I enjoy romantic movies, and I really enjoyed this one. But I consider that it was very low quality, bad editing, bad sound, bad acting.
Memorable
I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good, memorable laugh! It's suitable for the entire family. Abhishek does a fabulous job. The ways in which he deflects the interest of his potential brides are clever and oh-so hilarious! I still laugh at his encounters every time I have a chance to replay this movie. It's also a story of love and Aishwarya's acting is wonderful (not one of her best, best though). There's a twist in the movie and it really shows how versatile these two actors can be. The two make a great pair. I also recommend movies such as Dhaii Akshar Prem Ke, which stars both of them. Superb acting by Aishwarya (& Ajay Devgan) can be found in movies such as Dil De Chuke Sanaam. Abhishek movies I also recommend are Yuva (superb all around cast acting in this movie, but not suitable for children as there are violence and sexy scenes) and Bunti Aur Babli (another comedy in which there's an appearance by Aishwarya).
