Do you know how to sew?
I received three of the Babies R Us brand towels with the cute animals on the hood (this is just an example of one of them, they've changed the animals). Only one held up in washing. Within the first three washings there were holes in the seams of the other 2, mostly where the hoods are sewn to the towel. I used my sewing machine to repair the holes, but I still had holes from washing until I just stitched the entire hood onto the towel, reinforcing their stitching. My son is now 1-1/2 and we use these three towels rotating for every bath. We haven't had problems since I reinforced the stitching in that first month. If you don't know how to sew, don't get these towels. On the good side, they are absorbent and thick.
Fell apart at first wash
I washed this in cold water and as instructed, but it had a big hole in one of the flower petals and the fabric was frayed after only one wash. Save your money.
