My least favorite towels I got this set before my baby was born and it seemed to be a very nice set. They are okay and will get the job done but are neither super cheap nor super nice. After my baby was born and I found out more what I was doing, I discovered there are much better towels out there. Out of about a dozen different ones I have, this was the first to be retired because it barely covers my 4 month old baby anymore. The texture is cheap and not soft--it has sparsely placed, thin terry loops that snag easily.
The Carter's towels are much larger, thicker, and softer (except for the green frog/ blue puppy/ pink rabbit/ yellow duck line out this summer--texture is not much better though they are bigger and cuter in my opinion). I have found that the fancy towels from boutiques or Ralph Lauren ones bought at a discount store are the most luxurious of all and though they cost more, will last longer because they are bigger and better quality material.

These towels are so absobent and soft!! They are also very cute and the size is perfect for wrapping the baby in it

I received a couple of these and I returned a set because I'd already received so many towel sets. Wish I'd kept it because this is the set I reach for the most. It is thick and soft and cozy. I'd definitely recommend it over other towel sets.
