Fans of games such as Sonic Adventure and Crash Bandicoot will love this title. It plays similarly to those games, but with superior camera control. Although the graphics are technically impressive--excellent use of lighting effects, particle effects, and cel shading--it's the style that really stands out. The bright and playful graphics give off a feel-good vibe without being puerile. Unfortunately, all these lovely aspects are found in a game that most players will finish in fewer than 10 hours. Sure, there are some secrets and puzzles, but nothing that's truly challenging. It's a brief experience, but one of the best on the PlayStation2. --Raymond M. Padilla

Best platformer on the PS2 yet! I picked up this game at the local game retailer, and I thought I would get too distracted with the two GBA games I got along with it. But, I do know myself to make false predictions, and I had a blast playing this! The characters (and enemies) were all done very well. Most everything is cel shaded (3D environments with 2D characters), and I thought I wouldn't see another cel shaded game for a while after Jet Gring Radio. The theme is pretty much Japanese Cutsie style but who cares? I'd play a kiddie game as long as the gameplay is good! The controls are a little bit more sophisticated than the original Sonic game (Sonic had the directional pad and a jump button) with only a Jump button and a Shoot button. If you're a dad who wants to get some good gameplay, this is a good waste of $X...as long as your kids arn't into gaming too. If they are, you won't be playing this until they're done...with the whole game. The only downside to this killer-app is that it took me a mere two days to finish. But I'm still playing the thing hours at a time!
In a nutshell, this is fun as hell with non-violent game play, so your wife won't yell at you for getting another "shoot-go-lucky" game for the kiddies to kidbitz on.

OK. ... whats my favortie game of all time? Klonoa Luntea's Veil!!!!! Now I played alot of games. Evrything from Poke'mon, to Crash ,to Zelda, EVEN SUPER SMASH BROS! But of all that, Klonoa stands out of the crowd. OK. It's alittle easy, (sometimes you run into a mind binder!)alittle short, and the CHARATERS SPEAK JAPANISE!!(if it gets annoying, copy out loud what they're saying in English). But the graphics are awesome with cel shading, gameplay is cool (espacally the hoverboard!!!) and I LOVE THE CHARATERS! Klonoa, Popka, Lolo, Leorina, Tat, just to name a few. Lot's of collectables, and the story is cool (this may sound weird, but I cried at the end!!). This game is just to good to pass up. I almost did, and I would of passed up one of the best games for PS2!
Not Really Good.
I have to be honest I hate childish games,they are so annoying and sometimes too cute for me. But this game is some what fun there is nothing really to unlock just to play the game and finish it.I only play it because I am just so damn bored. This game is only good for girls or boys that are below the age of 11, well that is what I think I really don't care if you buy it or not I am just saying think twice before u waste your money you might regret it later on. It's an alright game.
