Customer Reviews of Khaki/Charcoal Snugli City Sport Soft Carrier
Excellent - a must have for any parents We bought this product for our trip to New York with our 3 month old baby. It is absolutely brilliant. Our baby loved sitting facing forward and watching the business of the city, then when she tired, she faced inward and happily fell asleep. The shoulder padding and upper back strap take all the weight off you. Fully recommended - it is money well spent and will save you carrying a buggy up and down all those subway station stairs.
No complaints
I love this carrier. It's neutral colors will work for a boy or girl. The top part of the carrier zips away when carrying baby facing out. This is my favorite feature. Our 6 month old son chewed on all of the other carriers we tried on. The zip away feature keeps him from doing this and allows him a better view. I have never felt like the carrier would fall off. On the contrary, my husband and I think it is very comfortable and stable (especially for the price). There are lots of small zippered pockets which come in handy as well. I have no complaints with this carrier.
Serves the purpose but could be a lot better!
I wasn't able to really use this with my daughter until she was 10 weeks old because the leg openings are really far apart and even now I feel that they are still too far apart. When I take her out of it, she has red marks on her little thighs. While in it though, she's content. She really enjoys being close to me while I walk around while doing chores or just going from place A to B but I am really concerned about the width that her legs are spread while in it and the damage it may be causing to her legs and spine. In reading another review, I also agree that the carrier feels like it's going to fall off because it does not criss cross in the back. I have narrow shoulders and while I'm sure it's really secure, the feeling of it falling off or baby falling out is constantly present. Another review commented on the removable restraints on each side that slide up and down - that when baby gets a little weight around the middle, it is really difficult to open and close them and I agree - it makes it really burdensome to get baby in and out of the carrier. It works but it could be a lot better. This type of product is worth spending a little more money on because it affects baby's spine and legs. We may not have to buy the Baby Bjorn but I'm not sure if there's a comparable item in quality for less the cost. If anyone knows, let me in on the secret!
