Customer Reviews of Kazaam [Original Soundtrack]
If you own only one soundtrack.. ...make this the one. Guaranteed, the best money you'll ever spend.
Needless to say, having watched the movie multiple times, most recently this afternoon, I had high expectations for the Kazaam Soundtrack. Shaq really adherred to public demand, nearly outdoing the buzz created by Shaq Fu Da Return - a cd that could be aptly described as a neccesity in the collection of any true fan of music. While this cd is clearly for those who like genies, that it applies to fans of stereos that are fed M&M's should not be overlooked.
This is a definite must-have, if nothing else a reminder of how great the mid 90's really were.
a stellar accompaniment to the brilliant film
This soundtrack includes all the memorable music from the oscar nominated film. I was ecstatic to find that all of Shaq's raps were included on the album, but I was disappointed that none of Franics Capra's spoken parts were put on. This is a great album to listen to while handcuffed to the seat on a long bus ride, or if you are stuck in San Quentin on kitchen duty. Shaq is a lyrical genius, easily as talented as Manute Bol or Truman Capote. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes genies, or who is a fan of late 80's German electronica.
