Customer Reviews of Kal Ho Naa Ho
must see Bollywood movie Kal Ho Naa Ho was the first Bollywood movie that I ever saw, and still remains my favorite (along with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge). Americans can appreciate the sometimes silly but always enjoyable pop cultures references, Indians can revel in the lush, elaborate cinematography, and everyone can love and adore Shah Rukh, Preity and Seif. This movie drew me in and made me laugh out loud, then break out into tears in the next moment. All of the songs are catchy, including the wise and beautiful title song. Everyone in the film is perfectly cast, and although the movie is a typical 3 hours long, it's well worth watching.
Incredible Movie Very Nice
One of the best hindustani movies. Shah Rukh is at one of his shinning moments since Kabhie Khushi all the way till Dilwale Dulhania. Preity Zinta also very beautiful and talented and with the essence of Saif Ali Khan this movie will really touch your heart. Its a must see movie.
One of the better Bollywood films
NYC was used to great advantage in this film, as well as the talents of the three main actors. Shah Rukh Khan stands out, as usual. He is both funny and dramatic; overacting brilliantly, Khan shamelessly and effectively tugs at your heart strings. The only real problem I had with the film was the subplot involving the annoying grandmother's hatred for one of her grandchildren-it was over-the-top and unnecessary. The music is great overall, with the moving theme song perfectly encapsulating the mood of the movie. I would definitely recommend "Kal Ho Naa Ho" to those who generally avoid Bollywood films-this one is definitely worth your time.
