Customer Reviews of John Lennon Collection Wallpaper Border - Yellow
This border ties the whole room together I just finished putting up the border in our baby's room and it looks great! The muted yellow looks good with any shade without looking "overdone". I took the advice of two reviewers and I'm so glad I did. First, using the border prep & adhesive made it so much easier and a lot less messy. Second, putting it at eye level makes it look more like a mural than a border. I've put up wallpaper before and this was by far the simplest to do by myself. It's the perfect finishing touch for the John Lennon theme!
Easy to do! The PERFECT touch to the room!
This was my first time doing borders and it was sooo simple..We bought the Border Adhesive Applicator...instead of wetting the border which made it so simple. The bottle comes with a sponge applicator so you don't need to buy a brush. We didn't have any problems like the other reviewers had wrote about. I have the matching yellow valance as well. I saved the extra border pieces to cut out and apply on other areas later. I'm just in love with this theme. It's so relaxing to look up at the borders I just want to sleep in the room too. Now I just can't wait to have my baby! :)
I Love this Border!
(...) I had already thought the matching bedding and lamp, etc. that came with the set and though that the room needed a border (we had already painted the walls a pale yellow). Once we marked the walls with a level, we wet the back of the paper by dragging it thru a pail of water and pasting it up. We had our friends help so there were 4 sets of hands doing this - which I strongly recommend. The border is very forgiving - if you paste it in the wrong spot it just peels off so you can reset it. All in all - it came out great and looks perfect. The colors didn't bleed onto the walls, and there are no lumps. Good luck!
