Extremely soft sheets, not too thick or thin, cute print Everyone always says that you get dozens of receiving blankets for your baby shower, but I didn't get any. Which was fortunate because that gave me the ability to chose the ones I really wanted (and not get stuck with ones of inferior quality or too frou-frou for my taste). These blankets are flannel (almost chamois like), super soft, medium weight, and a good size (not too big or too small). The print is very muted, yet cheery and festive. I've washed them several times and they just get softer with each use. They cost a bit more than some other receiving blankets, but they are worth it. BabiesRUs sells only the 2 packs of white blankets online, but you can also get 4 packs of this same product (2 white and 2 yellow) at Babycenter.com.

These are great - soft, big enough for swaddling, and don't pill or lose color easily... even after lots of washing!

I use these to cover the changing pad and they work great.
