Customer Reviews of Jeff Costa's Cardio Strip Tease Workout
Good Workout I like Jeff's style and I found the work out really got my heart rate up and my muscles working. I do work out regularly - at least 5x a week and do weight training every other day, and I am not new to aerobics. I love this workout because it is NOT a traditional aerobics workout and it IS fun. The time goes by much faster and, for those like me who hate traditional aerobics and count down the minutes until its over, this one does not find me waiting for the time to end. Well worth the cost (and it is well priced), fun to do, and a true workout. What more can you say.
Great dances for a club!
I have bought many bellydancing, latin & other workouts. I only bought the Vol. 2 of his series. He mentions dance moves he taught in the first volume, but I had no problem following.

>FIRST WORKOUT - Instructional/Dance
<
>Teaches you all the same moves you've seen many times on music videos, in clubs or dance sequences in movies/tv. Moves that you could easily take to any dance club. Such thigns as grapevines, V-steps, mambos, butterfly, slither (hip/hip style grapevine)& other sexy or hip/hop style moves. There aren't many really "stripper" moves, & only a tiny bit of boa use, but he teaches that first w/o the boa anyhow using just your hands. There is only one move done on the floor with you sitting on your heels.

>Jeff Costa is a dance choregrapher who designed this at Crunch Fitness in CA who I read actually started it & Carmen Electra, etc. all jumped on the bandwagon when it was popular for mainstream. He's very upbeat, positive, encouraging & obviously loves to share his love of dance. Don't know why a reviewer had a problem with him, do they think all choregraphers are female? A lot of dancers learn from men. There are 6 young, dance talented girls who dress in fitness clothes with natural-looking makeup to help demonstrate all the moves. For any head swinging or extreme knee use, he gives modifications.

>The music is very good compared to most fitness workouts. Good strong beat, nice moderate speed with a lovely female's voice singing occassionally. The moves are pretty simple & he starts out teaching you the basic foundatio of the move & then expands it to the full style. Very easy to learn & repeated over & over so you never feel lost. You get a little workout, especially the abs & legs, but nothing killer in my opinon. I had a lot of fun doing it, much more then Carmen Electra's.

>Second Workout - Fantasy
<
>This is shorter & all the girls are now in different male fantasy outfits such as nurse, devil, catholic girl & Jeff in the fireman look. It's not very long, maybe 10-15 min of a very short routine that is more stripper style moves. Thre aren't many moves & maybe 1 min of floorwork.

>The last part is the 6 girls who, one by one, dance with the camera angles geared to see close-up to what men what to see & not what you can practice to. Some girls seem a bit shy. Each girl only does about 3 moves of what Jeff taught (which seemed boring), each girl doing a diff one, but some seemed the same over & over... I started FFwding anyhow since I'm not bi or a man.

>Overall, I loved his style, I thought the last part of the girls dancing one by one was a waste of time & total fluff. I wish there was more content. The menu only had two choices: one or the other workout only.

>PS. Another reviewer said there was "sexy abs" & a CD with it, I assume she got the entire series since mine didn't come with it.
