Customer Reviews of Jeep Wrangler - Sport
Bright and Light and Cheap I picked this umbrella stroller because it was worth the upgrade of [$$] from the [$$] Kolcraft basic blue/green umbrella model. (I used a coupon and only paid [$$] for it)I needed a light weight and easy to use stroller and this fits to the tee. It's not only cute but easy to use. My daugther loves it (she is 7 1/2 months old) but she tends to sit/lean forward all the time. The bottom strap holds her in tightly but Kolcraft could improve the product by making it a body harness strap. You get a top shade and better over all quality construction- the seat and fame is much better than the basic. The side saddle pockets can't hold much - useless- Kolcraft should just make a bottom basket or use the same tote on the basic [$$] model. The handle bars are foam and comfortable compared to the basic model that just rubber. If you are just comparing the two models for price and quality- I recommend paying a little more for the Jeep model. It's three pounds heavier but what's three pounds more when you get a lot more features and benefits for the price. For price, style and function, the Jeep model is perfect. There's minor assembly (tires) and I was able to put it together easily.
ok for a light weight stroller at this price
I was looking for a light weight stroller to replace my bulky heavy duty jogger for trips to the mall or traveling. after looking and reading all the online reviews, i was first impressed with Baby Trend's Euro Sports. So my husband and I drove to the nearest BabiesRus to test drive. I really liked it, but the price is $59, a little higher than what i've planned and my husband is a price barganer, he wanted to try the cheapest unbrella stroller $19. I said NO, I want my son still be comfrotalbe and safe in a light weight stroller. so we went home empty hand... then we went to a ToysRus and saw the Jeep Rangler, the price is good, the padding seemed comfortable, it wheels easiely and didn't feel flimsy like the regular umbrella. I knew it doesn't have a much storage area,no cup holder, can't recline, but I thought i'll try it for a week or two. after several trips to the mall, I found my son was not comfortable at all while he sleeps. his head would tilt to his chest or against the side next to the metal bar. i could live without a storage bag, no cup holder but seeing him not able to rest in that stroller just made me didn't want to shop anymore. Last week, we went to babiesRus again, this time i spent the extra money to get that EuroSports, it's a little heavier than the Jeep Rangler but it can recline (4 positions), have a small storage bag underneath the seat, much easier for tall people to handle(don't have to bend your back or kicked the back wheels all the time), and best it has a 5 points belt that my son can't get out or tilt over(Jeep Rangler's belt is so low, i saw my son several times almost felt out of the stroller while try to touch his feet). over all, i think that extra $30 is worth every penny. I would not recommand to buy the JEEP Rangler if you want a safer, more comfortable light weight stroller and don't mind to pay a little bit more.
Can't be beat!!!
What a fabulous stroller! Considering we only had to spend $30 for this stroller, we could not be more pleased. We bought this stroller for our 2 year old daughter about 8 months ago and she loves it! It handles well, looks great and we have had no problems with it. I am by no means handy with assembling things (my husband handles all of that stuff), but even I was able to put this thing together with no trouble...the DIRECTIONS are very clear. As for the wheel covers popping off, they fit onto the wheel a certain way and if they are not snapped in correctly, they WILL pop off...just watch what you are doing when you put that part together. As for storage, you can only expect so much from an umbrella stroller anyway. The saddlebags are perfect for a snack and sippy cup on one side, and I keep an extra Pull-Up and travel pack of wipes in the other at all times. We don't need much more than that. This stroller has even gotten us through many trips to Disney World...now THERE'S a test!
As long as you remember that it is an umbrella stroller and not meant to be a super-duper, deluxe cruiser, you will agree that it is the perfect option for those of us who only need something quick and lightweight. A terrific find!!!
