We’re not entirely certain that the designers of this versatile playard were intentionally going after a "covered wagon" look or whether that’s just a happy coincidence. But we’re quite sure anyone riding in here is much more comfortable than the folks traveling across the American Midwest all those years ago. It features a removable bassinet and changing table as well as a removable canopy. The happy child inside is treated to ten different classical songs along with five nature sounds. Whether those features actually serve to soothe is a matter of baby’s personal taste but they should certainly have every opportunity. It’s easily collapsible and fits neatly inside the travel bag, which is equipped with wheels. Perhaps not mobile enough to cross the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains but plenty strong enough to make it through a busy airport and all the way to Grandma’s. --Charlie Williams
