Customer Reviews of Jeep Liberty Limited Urban Terrain
country living My husband and I live in the GA mountains but like to travel into the big city for a day of shopping. ... This possed a challenge for stroller purchasing: we wanted something more rugged like a jogger stroller but would work well in a mall etc. This was truly the answer in our quest!! The best feature of this stroller -- in addition to its rugged design -- is the swivel front wheel: While other parents fight to get there jogger strollers into tight places like elevators, I have already manuevered my son and his nifty wagon into place!! This wheel also locks if you need it to. But I find that even on the gravel roads, it is nicer to keep unlocked.
Other nice features: The BIG basket underneath -- great for a day of shopping, the two side compartments for storing diaper etc., the plastic window for seeing the little one and of course the steering-wheel toy that makes sounds (what fun!).
Drawback(s): (1)I wish the stroller had automatic brakes like many jogger strollers, (2)I wish it came with a travel system option for the younger children. ... If had those two features, this would be by far the best stroller for the money (even without it we still liked better than that over-priced Italian and English nonsense on the market!!).
In summary: enjoy this stroller and look for upgrades to come!
BEST Urban (sub-urban) stroller on the market!
We've been through several strollers (2 kids ages 4 and infant)in the past 4 years and hands down this is our favorite. We walk several miles everyday-- mostly on sidewalks, including over some pretty bumpy constuction-site terrain. The kids love the easy ride, toys, cup holder and compartments for their stuff. Mom loves the maneuverability, comfy hand grips, compartmetns for my walkman, cup holder and keys, spacious lower basket and SUPER easy to fold up with one hand. Quite light-weight to get in and out of the car too. Many moms have stopped me on the street to ask me where I got such a cool rig. THis is a rugged stroller that holds up well to my 42 lb active 4 year old. Oh yeah, I love the price tag too! The closest competitor (3 wheeler with front wheel that turns) is over $700. Enjoy!
Great Overall Stroller
Pros: cool looking, very sturdy, turns and maneuvers easily with one hand - front wheel locks, so we even use it on the beach, carries a lot in underneath basket - we walk to grocery store, saddlebags great for diaper change gear --I never bring a diaper bag, I also like the fold flap for a clear window to see baby on top, the side vents by head and the small mesh pockets on canopy, great for burp rag or other small items.<

Cons: heavy (but liftable), I PINCH my finger in the harness latch when I am not careful. OUCH!!! Doesn't include CD speakers as some people reference - water bottles are ok, but don't carry drinks without a lid in the cupholder- they will spill if you go over bumps!
