Customer Reviews of Jack & Jill
Jack and Jill For kids between the ages of seven to ten who like reading jokes and doing puzzles. It is only published eight times a year, but on the upside there is no advertising. <

>Jack and Jill is one of the publications by Children's Better Health Institute consisting of thirty five pages in each issue. Some of the issues have photos on the cover with others illustrations. There are topics of interest for boys and girls. The magazines are broken into four sections. <
> <
>Stories and Articles - The very first story appears at the beginning of each issue and usually covers four to five pages. There is always imaginative art work accompanying the stories. <
> <
>Special Features - Some of these are cartoons and each issue has either three or four. One issue we saved has a spelling challenge with a list and a dinosaur cartoon. Another one shares tips on getting rid of a cold. <
> <
>Things to Do - The three or four items in this section tend to be theme based on the time of year or month published. <
> <
>From Our Readers - Here are the jokes and riddles submitted by readers with their names and accompanying art work. These must be drawn on unlined paper and become the property of Jack and Jill. There is poetry sent in by readers, as well as the advice column by Doctor Cory. There are answers to puzzles toward the end of the issues. Talkback is found on the back cover with photos sent in when readers have tried activities or recipes in a previous issue. <

>Each issue covers sports, health, fitness, fun and games for children to tend to over the summer months when they are out of school. For the beginning reader the stories can be read at one?s own pace. The creative child can send in their submissions and critique those that have been published. While this is not my son's favorite magazine, especially when he has Reptiles and Zoobooks arriving monthly, but it keeps him entertained and involved with activities. <

Excellent Articles, Stories, Definitely Recommend!
This is a very stimulating magazine for my first grader! I definitely recommend it because it has fun activities and stories, along with NO advertisements or useless filler. I am extremely happy when it arrives because we both sit down and like to read the stories together and he likes the activities they come with a whole lot! He also gets US Kids, and Children's Playmate but I think that Jack and Jill is his favorite.
