Custom engineered specifically for the N24s, the stands measure 31.75 inches tall (without the speakers)--an optimal listening height for people seated in the midst of a stereo setup. Each stand also features a weighted 9.5-inch-diameter base that keeps the speaker sturdily suspended, along with a hollow post that conceals the speaker wire from view. And unlike with generic speaker stands, it's impossible to knock your JBL speakers off the FSN24s, as the speakers are literally screwed to the stands' threaded shafts. The only way to remove the speakers is to unscrew them. Listeners who own four N24 satellite speakers can buy an additional pair of FSN24s to create a full quartet of surround sound speakers suspended at the same height--one of the best ways to ensure proper surround sound.
