Great Device
I purchased this device from staples for $113.46 including tax and free shipping. This device is fairly quick, and I use the duplicator as a stand alone product. I too get an error message that states bad CD-R disk, but the disks work fine, but I am coping audio CDs. <

Be prepared for lots and lots of coasters
I needed a stand alone unit, as I needed to make copies of about 200 CDs, and didn't want to tie up my computer. This unit looked like it had some cool features, like the USB port, so I could use it as an external CD burner as well. After the first dozen or so CD-Rs I copied, it started having a hard time reading some CDs, or would tell me the CD-R media was bad. At first I chalked it up to poor media, but when I started to copy some CDs I hard burned on a TDK burner, with expensive media, the problems persisted. I'm returning mine to the store after making about 20 bad discs, that my burner in my computer was able to handle without fail.
