Customer Reviews of Imprudence
Hilarious and Gory I don't think the person before me who reviewed this movie got the point. He reviewed five zombie movies and gave them all ones, but gave pieces a 5! Peices sucks! Imprudence is not serious, its a comedy that makes fun of movies, and its really funny. For seventy five bucks and two days worth of work, this movie is a little gem, and I am happy to have it in my collection. But, not all people will get or like it, its a cult movie, so I can't say you will love it, as some people just don't get it. I still love it though. Good way to waste a few hours!

To think I waited six weeks to receive this turkey, and to think I based my purchasing decision on the boneheads here who wrote a review greater than one star. You may want to have the tap water in your town checked. Before I fall victim to those of you who support B movies to the death, I am a strong advocate for DIY independent film making. So save your breath for your next bogus review. This movie sucked. And I'll tell you why.

>As far as production value, awful. Yes, I know; it's a B movie. Don't get me wrong; I've seen plenty of films shot on DV and they looked pretty damn good. The picture quality here was awful, and in some scenes so dark you couldn't see what the hell was going on. Not that I'm complaining much. The sound quality was pretty bad, too. In a lot of scenes the audio is pretty choppy and incomprehensible. I have to give the special FX a big zero. Yes, I know. Low budget or no budget filmmaking. Blah blah blah. The blood in many of the scenes looked like water with red food coloring. Garbage. Randy from CT said the acting was good. Were we watching the same turd, or were you huffing paint as you watched this? If you were, I can understand that. The acting was as fine tuned as the zombies: belly flop. The "zombies" had NO makeup whatsoever. It seemed as though the director got all his friends together and spattered a little bit of fake blood on them and yelled "action". And the main reason we watch a zombie movie, the gore! Hardcore gore hounds, beware! The gore here was sheepish, and could have been a redeeming quality. No such luck. And those of you who got disappointed when I said gore instead of boobs, I think it's time to drop off your Vader cape at the cleaners and get some sun.

> Destined for cult status? Hell no. I feel bad for those of you who felt the gore and violence made you turn away. I take it then you've never seen such real gems (perhaps Susan from KS mistook this petrified horse apple for a gem?) like Dead Alive and The Dead Next Door. These are cult movies, not Imprudence. This movie is destined for the toilet.

>Am I telling you not to see it? Certainly not. Am I trying to save you time and money? Absolutely. You can pick this up if you want, I really could care less. This is the result of a movie shot in two days with 75 bones. Just don't give me the opportunity to say I told you so.
An Homage to the Classic 'B' Movie
While this movie may not be a high budget film the likes of "Scream" it does invoke the spirit of that other, more important, horror genre the 'B' movie.

>Imprudence tackles the classic zombie film with a gusto that is refreshing and at times nostalgic to the point of humor. We see great acting from a cast of virtual no-names who make the film a pleasure to watch, as they allow us to look past the over hyped Hollywood fame. I will be interested to see where these young actors' careers take them, for they show great potential.
