THIS IS A GAME?
If you were to ask me to review this game I'd say it sucked! There are more bugs in the game than the amount of cars to choose from. The graphics are just to simple for the PS2 and the gameplay gets boring. The first few mins are fun at first then it just gets boring. There is just no real challange in this game and the computer is just to slow(their cars and reaction time). The only good thing about the game is the amount of setting for your car to choose from. If you want a Drag racing game I'd invest in a version for the computer.

IT'S ONE OF THE BEST TO DATE..the cars will sway going down the track, can pull the wheels off the ground.the plus for me is the more you know about cars,engines and what they like gives you the extra edge. if you liked the pc version then this game is for you.
the only bad spots are the 70' cuda is really a 71' and i would have liked a incar camera.

This game does have a few good qualities...
Every once in a while, perhaps even once in a lifetime, you pick up a game that is so horrible, you feel like kicking yourself for spending money on it. There are plenty of boot marks on my rear that testify to this situation. IRHA Drag Racing 2 is one of the most poorly produced games in recent history, for the PS2.
Practically everything about this "game", and I use the term loosely, is substandard. Graphics - Can you say PS1? The graphics for this game are not only poor and grainy, they are below the standard graphics of many PS1 games. Gameplay - Again, I use this term loosely. In a nutshell, you pick your car, steer it, wait, get a graphics screen of the details on how you did, wait for the load, do it all over again. Man, that is what I call excitement. The status screen text is so tiny, that you can't even tell how well you did. How bad is this game? It is worse than most of the Atari 2600 games I'm still hanging onto. That is how bad this game is. Not worth buying. Not worth renting. But, the case makes a great doorstop and the CD can be used for a coaster for your drinks. You know you have a bad game in your hands when you are still complaining about it even when you pick it up at rock bottom prices. Ouch.
