Customer Reviews of I Spy Fantasy [Old Version]
I Spy Fantasy We own a few I Spy software games and they are fun to play. I Spy Fantasy is just another fantastic game for kids to play. Alone or with their siblings/friends this game challenges young and old. Excellent for foreigners by the way to improve their vocabulary!!!
I SPY FANTASY
I love all of the "I SPY" books and games that I've read or played with. It is a wonderful way for a grandchild and their grandma to spend some fun time together. My 8 year old grandson gave me his "I SPY Treasure Hunt" because it would not work in his new computer. I just bought "I SPY Fantasy" and gave it to my 4 year old grandson for his birthday and he LOVES it. There are 3 different places for them to search and explore. He just can't get enough of the castle part of the game. His imagination runs wild as he collects the keys to defeat the dragon and rescue the princess! There is also an underwater adventure to find the mermaids' jewels and a space adventure. It's fun for anyone aged 4(depending on the childs' capability in using a computer) till 104!
Short but sweet
I bought this game to use as a reward for my son getting his homework done without problems. He has trouble keeping on task while doing homework, and I thought that a reward of playing a new computer game would help out. It did, and, since he's already familiar with the I Spy books, he picked this game up and was playing it by himself right away. (He's 7.) He loved this game, and homework time became easier as he realized that he only was able to play when he did his homework without becoming distracted or giving his mom and I problems. The only problem is that the game is WAY too short. We only allowed our son to play in 30 minutes sessions, and he was still done with the game in only a few days. He played through the game a couple of more times (the difficulty increases with subsequent play-throughs), but he still grew bored with it after a few times through. Overall, a very fun and interesting game that simply doesn't last long enough. However, the price was low enough that I didn't feel that it wasn't worth it.
