>Nora Ephron's Book is both hysterically funny and full of everyday wisdom about the aging process from the perspective of a woman. As a man I personally admire all women since they constantly do their very best to look the very best while being able to perform all the day-`to-day duties at home or at work, and complaining a lot less than we men do. I bought this book as gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. The author's reflections on the little and big things a modern woman faces to keep looking at her best are simply put funny and true. The stand-up comedy language and the format of the book, which is divided in short stories or essays makes this book really entertaining. <

>I am usually surrounded by graceful women, ....hey, of course I am talking about my wife and her two lovely sisters (really I get along very well with both). I guess that as any other woman in this planet they are always worrying about their age and since they approached the forties all the three begun subtracting years from their age every birthday so I believe they all will be younger than they daughters in a few years (at least according to their accounts). That being said all the three absolutely enjoyed the book, so much that I am planning to buy an extra copy for my mother in law.

A witty little book about the passage of time
I Feel Bad About My Neck contains all of the things that Nora Ephron finds lamentable about growing older. This book is just as funny as you would expect from the same woman who gave us When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle. It also contains sage advice and witty commentary about everyday life. Ephron's discussions include everything from why you should buy and not rent to the pitfalls of owning too many skincare products. It's also less than two hundred pages and a very fast and upbeat read. I think this book is good for women any age, so don't be discouraged into thinking it's going to be a depressing rant about downside of getting older. Instead, Ephron gives us an inside look into her thoughts on the passage of time from someone who's been there and done that. This would be a great book to read in the bathtub or or nail salon when you're relaxing and in the mood for a chuckle.

It's not funny, so you'd better laugh
Nora Ephron's latest, I Feel Bad About My Neck, is a professional humorist's attempt to find the funny in the sad. Her predicament is a little like the one faced by the stand-up comic at the funeral. If she tells the truth, we cry and if she makes us laugh, well then she seems to be missing the point. <
>But Ephron is a very funny person, a screen-writer who actually made her deteriorating marriage and divorce into a comic novel with recipes.She can't resist the comic edge even as the knife itself is getting chipped and worn. She tells us that the last phase of any psychoanalysis is wasted and then can't resist adding that it's just hard to know when the last phase begins. <

Since no one I know has earned an exemption from aging, distracting ourselves with a few jokes is probably the most graceful and gracious way to handle it.
