Customer Reviews of I Copy DVD's 2
Good, DVD copy Software. . . This software is good! I have no problems or regrets, Its very easy to use and it has a nice price tag (about $30)... Like another reviewer said, the only way this software will work great for you is to download a free file called DVD43. This file always runs in the background in the form of a happy face. <
> If I had one dislike about all of this it would be that you need to manually close the DVD43 (happy face) every time you turn your PC on. If you do not do this every time you put a CD or DVD the program will attempt to decode it and what ever your trying to do wont start. But like I said all you have to do is right click on the happy face and it will go away. But hey its FREE and works on about 95% of all DVDs out there...
Fast copying, good copy quality, but limited choices
I purchased ICopyDVD2 after using Pinacle InstantCopy for 2 years. I like it and would recommend it for experienced users.

>Good things about ICopyDVD2: 1) It's fast -- copies typically take less than 1 hour from start to finish; 2) it strips out bonus materials, menus, extras that take up space; 3) the video and audio quality of the copies is excellent

>Things to know about ICopyDVD2: (1) it took me a long time to figure out how to make ICopyDVD2 work the first time. Unlike other other DVD copy programs which tell you to load the .vob files to your hard disk first, ICopyDVD2 requires you to insert the source DVD into your DVD drive as step 1 to read the content, and burns the DVD as step 2. Presumably, it does any processing or compression during the read step; (2) You need to find, download and install a free program called DVD43FREE before you can copy a DVD. DVD43FREE allows PC programs to read protected content on-the-fly. ICopyDVD2 won't work without DVD43FREE or a functionally equivalent program installed and running on your PC; (3) if you want to retain the DVD bonus materials, extra languages, and other extras, this may not be so easy with this program. (4) there are very few user selectable options -- e.g., you can't decided to copy one part of the DVD at high quality, and another section with low quality to save space.
really a zero!!!
I copy DVD's 2 doesn't do anything it claims on the box.To this day I haven't got this software to work and I tried it on 3 different computers.Another thing that bothers me is MEE TOO SOFTWARE( the company that makes I Copy DVD's 2) signed me up for some stupid magazine that I didn't ask for.Look at this review and the others and judge for yourself.BEWARE!!!
