A Fine Authentic Performance In a word, mesmerizing. For the afficionados of India ragas and medieval devotional literature of the bhakti traditions, a must have. The vocalist, Pandit Panigrahi has an impressive range and texture. I saw this work performed as a ballet in New Delhi many years ago, and this CD brought back the impact of that experience.
