Watchable TV movie
In between her acclaimed turns in "Murder in Texas" and "The Burning Bed", Fawcett made this watchable TV movie playing a high class hooker in a brothel who becomes involved in a sting operation with detective 'Beau Bridges' to catch an extortionist played by Harold Gould. Fawcett is of course excellent and has one or two 'standout' scenes, she is entirely credible in her role - my problem like other reviewers was in the casting of Beau Bridges who just seemed 'wishy washy'. If you're looking to pass the time you could do far worse.

Farrah Fawcett and Beau Bridges are teamed up together one a high class call girl, the other an undercover L.A. detective, who realize that in order to catch a crime boss, they will have to work together running an upper class prostitution penthouse on the crime boss' turf. Both characters come from different backgrounds and have a lack of respect for the other. She hates cops, He thinks that she is just a lady of the night. However, as much as they do not want to work together they need to in order to have the necessary means to catch the bad guy. As the movie progresses both Characters start to develop a bond for each other and by the end of the movie they realize that they may just be finding themselves in love. Fawcett is excellent in the role, and displays the right amount of attitude as a high class call girl. Bridges is only adequate as the detective, he does not display a real tough exterior that is needed in the role, and that is why I give it only a 3 star rating.
