Amazing!
Holly and Ivy is my favorite X-mas CD, ever! I bought this CD when it first came out and have loved it ever since. Ms. Cole outdoes herself and provides a great circle of songs. The best being "Caroling, Caroling" ( a great, very X-mas-y version") and the vocal "Holly and Ivy", which closes the album. This version is simply classic! Great for X-mas parties or just for yourself. Buy it!

Christmas love
This is my favorite Christmas CD. When I listen to no more blue Christmas's, it makes me think of all the people who don't have someone special to share the holidays with. Just when you are about to feel sad for these people the lyrics exalt when Natalie sings about Christmas getting better now that she has found someone, and no longer has to sign her Christmas cards all alone.

The little boy that Santa forgot reminds you to give to the toy charities during the holiday's.

There is not a bad song on the CD, and although I love the Mariah CD, this one seems to last longer, and truly makes you wonder why Ms. Natalie is not putting out albums every year.

JOY TO THE WORLD!!!
All of the songs are great on this, but Natalie's gospel like "Joy To The World" is the most rousing and uninhibitedly joyful rendition I've heard. I won't say it's the best, because there are several outstanding recordings of the carol, each of which bring out different perspectives. But this one is guaranteed to lift anybody's spirits.

The CD starts on a joyful note, and on the very first cut, you might find yourself singing "Jingle Bells" right along with her. However, she will touch your heart with her soft rendering of "Silent Night" and "The First Noel" among others. Two of the songs are closely identified, of course, with her father: The sentimental "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot" and "The Christmas Song". Both are very beautifully presented here.

This is an essential Christmas CD.
