Celebrating Cartoons This magazine celebrates 2-D. It's absolutely the best magazine devoted to the cartoon arts. The depth of this magazine makes is accessible to both the casual and the serious fan of cartoons. The best thing about it is that it is full of content. Heck, even most of the advertisements (and there are few) are cartoons and a pleasure to read. This is not a magazine to be thrown out as soon as you read it. It's something to put on your shelf for future reference. In fact, it's printed so nicely that it lends itself nicely to just that.

I've read Hogan's Alley for years, and it has consistently been the top cartooning magazine. When I get a new issue, I read it cover to cover...no small feat, considering how PACKED it is with material! Smart, funny, provocative and insightful, it's truly a thing of beauty, and a great value! It's not JUST about cartooning, but it encompasses a broad swatch of popular cartooning culture: the old and the new in comic strips, animation, political cartooning, comic books and more. Something for everyone with an interest in GOOD cartooning!
