It warms ok, not great. But the worst thing is, the massage is LOUD! I work at home, in my basement, where it gets cold, and was thrilled to get this to keep my feet warm, and was excited to get massage too. However, I can't use the massage feature while I am on the phone - it is way too loud. And there is no control on the heating element, just on and off. A disappointment. I still use the heat feature, but also wear thick socks!

For those that gave this product a bad review, they probably have high high high expectations. For the price, these products works consistiently it lasts an average of 6 months then the motor gives out. I'm currently on my 3rd Homedics AK-3, and awaiting order for two more. I have tried other foot massagers, and they are either too rough, or too localized or doesn't make me feel the full effect. The other products have broken down on me less than 6 months, and they were very very expensive <$$$$.$$!!>. I use the AK-3 an average of 30 minutes a day & night after work. My technique is that I pressure the left, right back and front of my feet while it's on the vibrator, and it feels absolutely wonderful! The part I absolutely love about this product, is that after a half hour, and I turn the vibrator of, I feel a 'tingling' sensation after I stopped using it as if it was still on the massager! The sensation lasted about 15 minutes after use and feels good, and it tells me that my circulation is moving. The infrared works really well, after about 10-15 minutes, my feet feels really warm, and this is especially great during the winter, when you're outside, and your feet get cold. I love this product, and I will keep buying this product, even if it breaks on me after 6 months, longest ever I used it was probably like 10 months before the motor gave out. For 29.95 via Amazon, I brought 2 to keep me going for at least a year and half! I hope they never ever stop making this specific product, cuz it is PERCECT the way it is! Oh by the way, this product is also light, compared to those other high end vibrators which are heavy and bulky. <

Unhappy feet
This product does not massage at all......just vibrates. I have it under my desk at work and RARELY use it. Very disappointing.
