 this is a great little unit for the price
I almost didn't buy this after reading some of the complaints. Then I read the positive reviews and it sounded like people were reviewing two different items. I went ahead and bought it and I'm happy that I did. As for the complaint about the timer settings, it's true that there are three of them but you don't have to use them. If you turn the unit on the default setting is for it to stay on continuously. It's amazing the things you can learn if you actually read the instructions! The fan on the aromatherapy unit is a bit louder than I'd like and it vibrates a bit, but it doesn't drown out the sounds unless you have the volume turned down to the lowest point possible. The sound selection is okay for a unit of this price. The summer night, brook, and woodlands I find particularly soothing. All in all I think this thing is pretty cool. I'll be curious to see if I have problems with durability as some seemed to.

I read some of the reviews, and I swear some people complain so much about tiny details! This machine is a wonderful little thing! Lets say if you work at night, and you have to sleep during the day, you can turn this on and it will drown out the noises of every day living. The aromatherapy is subtle- not too strong, yet strong enough. If you are trying to use it like a house freshener, don't- it's not going to work on the whole house! Some of the reviewers' noses must be stopped up because if you can't smell the aromatherapy beads, something is wrong. The scents are righteous! I think the sounds are pretty acurate as well. Very relaxing. It has volume control, and you can leave it on all night just by not choosing any of the time options. People were complaining about not being able to listen all night. Just don't light up any of the time options and it will stay on. Don't hesitate to buy this, you will love it, unless you like to complain about minor details.

What a great buy! I absolutely love this product! I love how it has the soothing sounds AND the aromatherapy combined- I used it at work as soon as I got it and it really is relaxing. I plan to buy one for my apartment too! I totally recommend it!
