Customer Reviews of Highlander: The Final Dimension [Region 2]
The Sequel To The Sequel, I Mean The Prequel To The Sequel, I Huh... Never Mind Well thank goodness for a little return to sanity. There's no more planet Zeist in the storyline and Ramirez stays dead in 'Highlander: The Final Dimension', the third film in the Highlander series released in '95. Actually as things turn out this is not really the final dimension (i.e. installment). There's still one more to follow, fooled you again! <
> <
>The third film is set up as a prequel to the second. MacLeod, still played by Christopher Lambert has left Scotland and eventually ends up in Japan where he makes friends with another powerful Immortal-sorcerer Nakano (Mako). As things always seem to turn out for MacLeod's friends, Nakano is killed by a rival Immortal-sorcerer named Kane (Mario Van Peebles) setting up a showdown between the Highlander and Kane. <

>This film is definitely not as good as the original, but it's a far cry better than the previous sequel. Some good fantasy, action/adventure fun for Highlander fans. It's not just swordplay anymore, now sorcery has been added to the equation.
The third movie is the real sequel to the first one
Don't get me wrong, I like the second movie, but more like an imaginative science fiction story. This one, also called he Sorcerer, is the real sequel of the first movie, that continues the mithology as it really is in our world. The plot is inspiring, and it have great action scenes.
Highland Garbage.
This film makes no sense, and really doesn't fit into the highlander timeline.
<
>it starts off 400 years before and Mcleod is hanging out in a cave in fuedal japan with some sorcerer Dude., how he got there is a complete mystery.
<
>then in walks the bad guys, another bunch of sorcerers and they are immortal. Well there is battle and our hero wins out and the cave collapses.. Cut to 400 years later and an archaeological team discover the cave and the sleeping immortals awaken, their clothes still in pristine condition after all the centuries, must have been sprinkled with pixie dust. The main bad guy Kane, kills the other Dudes and then teleports to New York to hunt Mcleod, oh and Kane now speaks fluent English.
<
>Usual crap then insues and mcleod saves the day.
<
>absolute crap-don't waste your money.
