love the look but ..
i was just like a couple of the other mothers to be out there to excited and couldn't wait.i bought this crib and finally got to put it together,and the backboard was ok to add the sides to but when it came time to put the mattress support in i fought with it having to turn the crib on its back. then you have to screw it in to the front part it was to small. other than this the instructions were very simple to understand and i just love it..

Beautiful bed, pain in my rear end
This bed is gorgeous. It looks like everything we could ever have dreamed. It is sturdy, solid wood, and is constructed well. However.... Mine is 28.5 inches wide, which is too big for any standard sized mattress on the market. We have no idea what to do and are infuriated that our child's safety is at risk with the bed as-is, and that we are having to go to crazy lengths to find any mattress to fit it. Very annoying, to say the least.

Would like to have it in nursery!
I ordered this set in the other color from the store on 8/6/05 and it's now 12/18/05 and it's STILL not in. Customer service has been horrible and they still don't know when it's going to come in. Stay away from Simmons!
