Just Try to Buy the Conversion Kit...
We have enjoyed the earlier model of this crib for nearly two years, and now need it to be a toddler bed. The specialty store where we bought it won't deal with Simmons any more, and Babies R Us has a hold indefinitely on all special orders. Simmons has been bought out by Delta, and I've spoken with them directly with no luck. So we have the mattress on the floor and the crib gathering dust (really holding toys) until this resolves or we go to IKEA and start over. Buyer beware.

Great Crib
This crib arrived in great shape and took about an hour and a half to put together (although the delivery men were less than wonderful... they asked us if we wanted them to bring it in the house!! WHAT? Of course! When we said yes they got an attitude with us). They left it in our living room and we had to carry it to the nursery ourselves!! Poor service by Eagle, but as mentioned above, the crib is great. <

>It's a great color for the nursery, and the crib is very sturdy and doesn't make any noise when you move the side up and down. It's a perfect size for what we consider to be a smallish room, but will look great in any size room. <

Beautiful Basic Crib
We had a hard time finding just a basic, simple crib that felt sturdy, and was easy to use the dropside. (I am only 5'). In the showroom, this was the handsdown favorite. <
