Rich Peace
Yet another marvellous production from Genie and Troy Nilsson. If you thought 'Whisper' was beautiful and it IS, this newer CD is equally excellent. You actually get two CDs in one because each track is (slightly bizarrely) followed by its own instrumental. Personally I would have preferred the instrumentals together, as the Nilsson's have done previously. Nevertheless, as God inhabits the praises of His people, you can meet Him in this recording, the peace genuinely flows through it.

Christians will devour it, new-agers seeking REAL peace and not some pseudo-gobble will hopefully see the difference. Suspend time, lock in and bathe! Enjoy!

This blows away that John Tesh worship stuff they advertise on TV.

Listening to Genie's new album Wildflowers is a soothing journey through tender and angelic songs. Recorded on an antique Steinway, the piano playing is very melodic and gentle, nicely supporting Genie's breathy vocals and earnest lyrics. The title track is a touching rumination on her late grandmother, and there is an ambience of peace and healing throughout every song. Wildflowers is lush and mellow in the vein of Kate Bush and Enya, and Genie's voice verges on precious. Genie and husband Troy have numerous CDs and videos out.
