Excellent drive I have had this drive briefly, but its just amazing as to how reliable this drive is. So far I dont have any wasted CDsand am extremely satisfied with the speeds at which this drive writes.
No Coasters for Me.
I've owned this burner for quite a while now and have never burned a coaster with it. I've had great luck with it. It's easy to set up and came with quite a bit of software. I had other burners but, this one came with one of the best software bundles and Hewlett Packard's great name. I was burning cd's within an hour of opening the package. It was simple to install (if you're comfortable opening your computer's case) and used a standard atapi driver. After loading up the Easy CD Creator software I was buring away. They were nice enough to include the CD Stomper labeling kit too. Great kit. I haven't had any problems in over a year of use.
Forget Cheap asian and chinesse burners!
Hey guys, american technology rules! If you want to spend every other year on a new burner, then by all means, keep buying oriental burners. If you like quality and reliability, perfect burns every time, then you must own the best! Hewlett Packard burners/
Is your money, mine is earned very hard so I rather spend a bit more now than 100% again later after the damm japanesse burner dies and they ask me to send it to Mexico or Canada! Forget you Yamaha!
