This highchair has an easy-to-adjust harness that holds baby securely throughout the meal and has several height positions to grow with baby. The ergonomic tray glides off the front of the chair with a one-handed squeeze. The tray snaps in around baby but doesn’t get quite close enough to avoid some food spillage on her lap. A removable insert lets toddlers eat finger foods right off the tray and then goes into the dishwasher for hygienic cleaning.

Practical I am pleased with all but two features to this product. One is the removable snack tray, which is a thin piece of plastic with a few grooves to hold a cup/plate. I find it cumbersome as it does not sit flush to the main sliding tray. The other being a toy bar, which is not only unnecessary it keeps falling off. Overall this item is easy to clean and lets me get very close while I feed my son from my own chair.

Just got the chair and love it! Was concerned about some of the negative reviews, but now that I have it, seems like the negatives mainly might be from not following directions. For example, adjusting height and reclining are both specifically mentioned in the manual and are instructed to do with baby OUT of chair. Both adjustments I found to be easy. The basket on the back...it is DESIGNED to come off under pressure in case an older child tries to climb up the back! It's a safety release, but doesn't fall off from light pressure. It may be unnecessary, but if you don't want it, leave it off. This chair is on sale now, and a steal at under $60. Love the vinyl seat cover...wipes clean very easily.Love the choice of trays, I'm sure I'll love them more as Maggie gets older. My baby (6 mos) is very comfortable in it. One thing...the tray doesn't slide in and out very smoothly. However, I went to several stores and put my hands on several brands and I didn't think any of them were that smooth. It's easier (if you're one-handed with the baby in the other)to just release the tray and lift it off, secure the baby, and replace the tray. Minimal effort for a great result at a great price. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
