Customer Reviews of Thera-Band Latex Free Exercise Bands - Heavy Resistance Pack - 1 Heavy/1 Ex Heavy/1 Sp Heavy
Colorful, Playful and Useful Anyone who has ever befriended a Pilates instructor can vouch for the fact that Theraband has a devoted following among rehabilitation professionals and movement educators. Some might say it borders on fetish. Sans latex, this material is sold in long rolls which you can cut to length. Not nearly as svelte as a latex tulip gown from [...], but decidedly more useful in movement education. I'm just theorizing, of course, having used Theraband myself but never tried yoga in a latex tulip gown. <

>But I digress. <

>Theraband's manufacturer also makes a variety of fitness products which utilize the Theraband elastic roll material as the means of resistance. Lots of interesting possibilities there, including a portable exercise device that you can attach to the door of your hotel room for impromptu workouts on the road. <

>I heard a rumour that an evening party at Mind-Body conference spun out of control when Theraband was introduced into a game of Twister. Apparently, a Feldenkrais (tm) person emerged victorious having apparently been privvy to an unpublished ATM lesson by Moshe himself in which secret Judo techniques were used to make game movements in Twister maximally efficient. <

>My theory about the success of Pilates is based on the idea that your client naturally regresses back into the childlike state they loved when one's bedroom was filled with colorful and interesting toys that rolled, bounced and rocked. So even without the brightly colored Twister game-board, Theraband is a playful and useful accessory for Pilates, Gyrotonic and oh-so-precise forms of Yoga. <

>The great thing about Amazon.com is that it's the only place on earth where you can put both Twister and Theraband into your shopping cart.
