In Half-Life, you play as Gordon Freeman, a research associate at the Black Mesa Federal Research Facility. An experiment blows up in your face, and suddenly aliens and a military death squad surround you. Half-Life: Opposing Force takes place during the events of Half-Life, but casts you as a lieutenant of one of the commando squads sent to kill Freeman. Half-Life: Blue Shift also takes place during the same time as Opposing Force and Half-Life, but this time you play through the Black Mesa disaster as a lowly security guard. Team Fortress Classic is an online action game featuring a wide array of WWII-themed character classes for a team warfare bonanza. Counter-Strike brings the action of Team Fortress Classic into the modern age: it's an online war of terrorists versus counterterrorists in modern team-based combat. All five award-winning programs are included in this one box.

Half-Life Platinum Edition I Was EXTREMLY impressed With this game!!
First Half-Life it's the classic game.Basically you a scientist who's try to stop aliens from taking the world over.(I know it sounds kind of chessey but it reall is fun)On top of aliens you have to take care of about 400 marines.Oy!
Next Opposing Force.Now you on the other side of things playing as a marine,You're tryin to seek and destroy Gordon Freemen (Main Charater from HL)on top of Aliens you have to fight the special forces.this game is fun.it has the original guns from Hl plus more like a fully auto Macine gun,a Sniper rifle,and a desert eagle.
Counter-Strike and team fotress are both Awesome multiplayer games!! the grapics are mind boggling and the detail of the guns is amazing!!!
This is a must have for any fan of a 1st Person shooter.

THIS GAME ROCKS!!! PLUS THIS PLATINUM EDITION GIVES U ALL THE HALF-LIFE GAMES THAT ARE OUT....INCLUDES: HALF-LIFE GAME OF YEAR EDITION, HALF-LIFE: OPPOSING FORCE, HALF-LIFE COUNTER STRIKE, AND TEAM FORTRESS CLASSIC! Now some people are saying "why buy", when u can get Counter strike and TFC for free of the internet by downloading them. Well,downloading them would be nice but....some of us dont have DSL or Cable....the TFC download is HUGE it wouldve taken me hours to get it all, and also sometimes there are huge glitches in the game when u download it off the internet. thats why i never download demos or games off the internet anymore. But anyway...all in all this is a great buy, so if you cant download them, or dont want to BECAUSE ITS A CHEAP RIPOFF!! LoL na im just playing....just buy the !@#$%^ game, u wont be dissapointed. It combines the gore and mayhem of Quake and Unreal and the Strategicness of games like Delta Force and silent scope! well, cya guys later...dont forget to buy this game
