Depends on your use
The Hemera "Photo Clip Art 150,000" contains almost all the images in this collection, but this is nearly 4x the price for 1/3 the images. What is the difference? The images here have about a 20% higher resolution and transparency masks (i.e. Photo Clip Art forces you to have a colored background, but you can have no background with photo objects). <

If you're designing for the web, you're usually going to throw a background in behind photos anyway, or if you need the transparency, you can easily select some obscure color for the background and "magic wand" it out in 30 seconds. <

Don't be fooled by past experience with this product
I cannot recommend this new version of the Hemera Photo-Objects series. The past two issues Vol I and II are wonderful products and worth owning, but this new version is a nightmare to work with. The new interface has promise, but the software is plagued with glitches, after waiting five months for the promised update that would allow me to resume searching to my hard drive where I had copied all the CD's from the previous puchases, now the export assistant refuses to do proper math. Although it lets you enter the desired size, all exported files are tiny and do not match your specified settings. Don't be drawn in by past purchases, although the images are worth owning - the new engine leaves much to be desired. Maybe it will be better in future versions
