Should have been titled "Buy our Newspaper" Overall not a bad book but I found it didn't go into enough depth on some topics and often didn't fully explain the jargon before launching into a technical discussion. Look at the cover, notice "Investing" is in a font several points larger than "Personal Finance". This accurately summarizes the content of this book as it devotes more time to investing.
However, what really disappointed me were the numerous pages devoted to interpreting the charts and tables published in the Financial Post newspaper. It even goes so far as to mention what days of the week certain features are published. As if this is the only source of financial news and information. And no surprise there is little mention of alternate sources such as specific web sites or other publications. With that amount of advertising I expect a lower price or a free subscription.
