Part of the Groovy Flowers collection from Kids "R" Us, these bookends make a great addition to any girl's room. Measuring 6 inches long by 4 inches wide by 7 inches high, they're made entirely of painted wood. The base and side are glossy purple with a darker accent stripe running along their edges. The die-cut flower is the same light purple, while the petals are detailed with the darker purple color. Each has a smaller wooden piece fixed in the middle of it, decorated with a bold blue color. A little assembly is required, although only a Philips screwdriver is needed. The screws and simple directions for securing the three pieces of each bookend together are all included, as are nonslip feet so that it will take only a few minutes before these bookends are in place and doing their bit to keep a growing library in order. --David Morel
