Great Lightweight Stroller My husband researched strollers and we decided on the Graco Metro Light Stroller. When searching, my husband's main criteria was that the stroller be lightweight for me since I'll be the one using it on a daily basis and my main criteria was to not buy "too much stroller" as I read in a book. So many strollers today weigh a ton and have far too many (unneeded) bells and whistles.
We love: the black & white plaid print (I didn't want blue, as most strollers are), it's lightweight, opens and folds up easily, adjustable handlebars, matching car seat, large basket.
Problems we've encountered: can't get to basket easily when car seat is attached, unable to see our daughter when canopy is up, sometimes difficult to steer.
Items that Graco could improve upon that shouldn't add extra weight: add a window in the canopy to see the baby when in car seat and design basket so that it's accessible when car seat is attached.
This is a great lightweight stroller for new moms and dads. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the mid- and full-size strollers have, but they're not needed. This is the only stroller we have and it's the only one we need (although we might buy a jog stroller since we like to run and the Metro Light is not for running). I've heard of parents having two, three, or even four strollers. I believe most parents will be happy with the Graco Metro Light stroller.
Picky Stroller Mom!
This is my third stroller, and I finally found one I love! I received the Graco Coachrider Travel system and the Combi Saavy at my baby shower. I liked the Coachrider a lot, the infant seat, the great features - but it just became too big and heavy for quick in and out trips - so I had the Combi. Well, I didn't use it until my son was 6 months old because of the infant seat, but as my son grew, the stroller got harder to steer because of the weight and his feet touch the wheels, also no snack tray or adult tray! I did a alot of research - I wanted a lightweight stroller that had a snack tray and a parent tray, but the seat also had to sit flat (some of the cheaper Graco strollers like the Kite, etc - the seat goes down in the back and my son hated it because he couldn't see over the tray - I bought one because of the price, but the first time i used it he cried the entire time he was in it so I returned it). I liked the Metrolite and decided I wanted this exact model because the more expensive model has a 5 pt. harness. I think the lap harness is sufficicent and I was worried my son would not want his shoulders strapped down, causing him not to want to wear the belt at all. Anyways - I have had the stroller for 6 months now (my son is 15 months) and it was the best thing I ever purchased. He loves to be in it, and I love to push it. I would highly recommend to all!!

For the most part this is a great stroller. It strolls smoothly is easy to use and collapse. The biggest downfall is not being able to access the basket with the baby in the infant seat. When she is in the seat, you have to move the baby up to access it. I also agree that it is hard to adjust the back evenly when the infant is reclined. I also wish there was some way to hang toys from the stroller canopy to keep my little one entertained.
