Customer Reviews of Girls and Boys, Come Out to Play!
a treasure A melodic, peaceful recording, which my family has listened to and enjoyed over and over again in our home and on the road. Lovely arrangements for some well-known as well as less familiar nursery rhymes and songs.
Baroque Music for the Young at Heart
This recording is highly recommended for listening pleasure, joyous dancing, classical tastes, & quiet times. There is a lighthearted musical energy played into these traditional tunes, accompanied by classically styled vocals, hammered dulcimer, viol, recorder, guitar, and piano. I've used this recording in my daycare business for 10+ years, for creative movement, music appreciation, and quiet rest times. My family and I have taken it with us for extended cartrips, gaily singing and whistling with it's familiar tunes. Adults have taken notice of it's quality and how it exposes the children to 17th & 18th century ballad tunes. This collection of children's music is not just for children and will be enjoyed by all listeners.
