I love this bouncer!!! I almost didn't buy a bouncer thinking that it was just a waste of money. I didn't think I would use it. But my sister talked me into it and let me tell you, my daughter absolutely loves it!!! She loves the vibrating seat and the motion responding toy bar (The toy bar has several settings including one called motion. Any time the baby moves the toy bar goes off---she loves it!) She'll sit in this bouncer sometimes up to half an hour....it's the only way I can take a shower some days!! I definitely recommend this!
Great features... although the quality isn't there
I loved all the features of this bouncer... the baby activation, manual or continous settings and that the bar was removable. Although after having to return it twice (by the time my newborn was only 7 weeks old) I had to eventually try a differnet manufacturer. Why did I return it after loving it so much? Well the 1 AA battery that ran the vibration portion of the bouncer (the most important part as any mother can tell you) needed to be changed quite often, but I could have lived with that. It was the fact that if I had the bouncer set to continous play, and my daughter moved it caused the music to skip and nothing could get it to un-skip (a musical nightmare). After returning when she was 5 weeks old, and having the same problem at 7 weeks of age (with a brand new bouncer)- I just gave up. I wouldn't recommend it's purchase.
8 months and still going...
I am amazed how long this bouncer has lasted. I paid half the price of most bouncers and it has far exceeded my expectations. I put my 23 lb 8 month old in any other bouncer and he is weighted down to the floor deeming them unusable. This one is just as sturdy now as it was when he was 10 lbs...and he hasn't even outgrown it in length yet at 29 inches. I can see its only going to last a month or so more...but it has been great! Besides nursing this is the only way to get him to sleep. The toy bar is okay, but really not a feature we used much. It entertained him at a few months old, but now he doesn't care at all about it. He never really cared about the vibrator either...so one set of batteries has lasted us the entire time. Recently he's started thinking it was funny, so its been used a bit more. Anyway, this bouncer is great...especially for the low price!!! I'm glad I didn't buy a more expensive one that he would've weighed down months ago.
