Customer Reviews of Giant Magazine
New Look will ruin Giant I must say I loved this magazine from the first issue, great writers, humor ,a cool look , a must fun read....Now with the new look, oh my, what are they thinking? Apparently they have decided to go for a different audience and I for one will say now unless they go back and get more of the feel of the first 5 issues, this magazine will quickly fade, especially with the readership that they intially targeted it towards...Oh well, I'll <
>give them a couple more issues to maybe come to their senses and realize, to survive, the old format was much cooler... <
>Just an add, I would have given it 5 stars before the revamp.
Pop culture trivia for anyone
Though for some reason its editors seem to want to pretend this magazine is focused toward men, in reality its pop culture sensibilities are for anyone interested in film, music, electronics, games, and getaways. In fact, if they'd pitch the glossy photographic layouts (which are tamer than anything one might see in Glamour or Vogue), adult males wouldn't even need to hide it when their parents come to visit.

>It's not a "men's" (i.e., sex) mag; it's not soft porn. It's cutting-edge, witty, and playful in the way friends are playful.

>A terrific addition to the magazine world! I just hope its publisher figures out how to market it properly so it can generate an audience.
Well done entertainment magazine, not only for men ;-)
While there are some spreads for the boys, it seems like that is not the full purpose of the magazine. I love the articles, interviews, and (movie/music) reviews. I liked the articles about Deadwood, Office Space, Full Metal Jacket, Jeremy Piven, Julian McMahon, Sarah Silverman's favorite dirty jokes, etc. Way better than Entertainment magazine... Giant has great writers, interviewers, and great humor. Pick up the magazine and see for yourself.
