Always used these bags I used these bags when I nursed my now-2-year-old and never had problems; I liked them the best out of all the bags I had tried. Now, however, I am using them with my 5-month-old and am having issues with leaking from the bottom seam! It is a horrible feeling to "lose" ounces of precious breastmilk because of unexpected leaking from the bag. I'm switching to Lansinoh bags.
great bags for storage
I found these bags better than the medela ones. I have the medela double electric breastpump and began using there bags to which I had way too many problems with. The gerber bags stand up on their own, are easy write on, have clear and accurate fluid ounces markers, seal easily, and can easily pour out the thawed milk into a bottle without any spillage during that whole process! I pumped into hard plastic bottles then poured the milk into seal-n-go bags...now if they could make a bag with these features that attaches some how to the breast pump that would be ideal!

I love these bags! I am soooo glad that they make zipper seals now. I love that they stand on their own and they lie flat in the freezer so I can stack them. Other people have problems with these bags due to user error and not using them like they are intended....they work perfectly if you read the directions, don't take off the tabs prior to zipping and storing, and if you don't fill the bag to the brim (follow the directions!)! If you do, then it will leak or break in the freezer because freezing anything makes it expand. That's why there is such a large top space for this bag....don't overfill it (more than the recommended 6oz), and you will not have any problems. It seems that all of the problems listed on these reviews have to do with user error, not product error.
