Anchor strap not long enough for Honda
The anchor strap that comes with this seat is made to 43"...about 6 or 7 inches shorter than any other maker. It will not fit my Honda Odyssey minivan. I contacted Evenflo and they said at this time there are no other options or ways to extend the strap. BOTTOM LINE: WASTE OF TIME BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT, THEN HAD TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE CAR, PUT MY OLD CAR SEAT IN TO TAKE MY KIDS WITH ME BACK TO THE STORE TO RETURN IT!! Beware if you have a minivan with the anchors under the seat!

Overall a great car seat, would buy again!
We bought this car seat in July 2005 and we and our son loves it; and you're lucky, its only $99 now, we paid more. The padding is fabulous, its easy to move in and out of cars, and he loves to play with the arm rests. I came on here to look at the reviews since I'm recommending it to a friend, and of course had to respond to the negative reviews: I know what they're talking about, but really they must be freakouts. Because its very easy to flip the harness strap latches around IF it does get twisted, even with the child in the seat. I absolutely love the fact that they go in independent of each other into the crotch latch (no puzzle piece matching here, which was on our Eddie Bauer infant car seat and was a nightmare with a resisting child). Also, another complaint was the tightening system, but once you figure out how it works, its very easy and logical to operate. I love the fact that it tightens and loosens without having to get the seat out - very convenient in these alternating 70 degree to 50 degree days. And, the other models have a strap hanging out of the front, I just didn't like straps hanging out. We did break the cup holder (which I thought was flimsy in the first place) when my hubby forgot to take it off before folding down the back seat onto it for hauling something in our SUV. Anyway, I'd buy it again! <

>Also, we have a personal older friend at Babies R Us who's been there, in the car seat department, for 15+ years (Began with Baby Superstore who was bought by Babies R Us). We got her work schedule and went on a day she was there to have her help us. She told us the drawbacks of all the seats available at that time, the ones being returned, and the one she recommended is this one. Since new models are introduced all the time, I'd see if you can find a knowledgable, experienced, honest sales person to help you like she helped us. You may have to call the store to find out who that person is before making a trip, but its well worth it.

Great Seat!
My son is 3 and so far we love everything about this seat! We've had it for about a month now. <

It gives him a much better fit then ones that have to stay in the same spot. Also it has padding all around the seat. Not just around his head. I think that is a big plus too! <
